Someone thinks gamma rays are useful. Captain Jackson is sent back to the fourth planet of the Tau Ceti system when a nuclear power plant is discovered. Since the civilization on the planet is similar to Earth's Bronze Age, the Space Administration suspects alien technology. But why? He contacts a friend to get information, and gains employment inside the thorium reactor. He finds there's another reason, motivated by profit, of not just one alien species, but two.
